This recipe states a simple Veg Bread Upuma prepared using Microwave.This aromatic Upuma can be done in 6 mins and can be served as a short-meal too.Addition of pure coconut oil makes it more aromatic.Check ur Manual timings as it may vary 1 -2 mins/model.Enjoy Easy cooking and Ur Meal!.BonAppetit!
Veg Bread Upuma - South Indian Easy Breakfast Bread Preparation.
Ingredients:
10 Bread slices -Edges removed and cut into or shredded into pieces
1 Carrot - scrapped and diced
10 french beans - chopped fine
1 small potato - peeled and diced
1 small onion -peeled and chopped fine
few chopped curry and coriander leaves
1/4 tsp salt
2 tbsp grated coconut
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp lemon juice(optional)
1/2 tsp grated ginger
Directions:
1.Wash well the vegs and chop them fine.In a M/W safe bowl,add 2 tsp oil,mustard seeds,onion slices,grated ginger and curry leaves.Mix it well.M/W on high for 2 mins.
2.Take the bowl out add all chopped Vegetables and a pinch of salt.Mix it well.M/W on high for 2 more mins.Take it out and mix it well.Again do it on medium high for 2 more mins.
3.Now add the bread pieces,grated coconut and chopped coriander leaves,mix it well and M/W on medium high for 2 more mins
4.Sprinkle lemon juice added 30 ml lukewarm water over it.Mix it well and M/W it on high for a min -while serving it.(Don't mix it before serving).
