Lemony Spicy Sev - Spicy deep-fried lemon-flavored Besanflour snack
1/6 cup rice flour or refined flour
2 tsp lemon juice
1/4 tsp lemon flavor or essence
2 tbsp butter
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/6 tsp asafoetida powder
1 tsp black sesame seeds
1/4 tsp salt or needed
300 ml refined oil
1/4 cup or needed lukewarm water
Directions:
1.Mix all the ingredients except oil to make a smooth or soft and fine dough.
2.Divide the dough into half-orange sized balls.
3.Heat 300ml oil in a kadai.Press the dough in Murukku Apparatus with a round-hole mould. Use ur fingers to make 2 inches long sev part the squeezed flour and deep-fry it till golden brown on both sides.
4.Serve hot at teatime or store in an airtight container.
