This tasty and healthy Milk - Dessert is done in TamilNadu .Milk Khova(Khoya Recipe) is good for growing kids. Addition of refined flour improves the texture of this sweet(U can also do it without adding refined flour).Can do this in a saucepan in 50 mins Cooking-time atleast(shd keep on stirring this on medium-high) and in M/W,it takes few mins less ,dependingon the quantity of the milk.This serves 5-6 nos and requires nearly 30 mins M/W Cooking time.Try this recipe at home to enjoy this Milk Dessert this festive time.BonAppetit!
Milk Khova(Paal Khova) Sweet - Milk and condensed milk cooked with sugar,Curd,refined flour and ghee
Ingredients
500ml Full-Cream Milk- boiled for 6 mins on microwave high
200 ml or 1 tin Condensed Milk
2 -3 tbsp or a handful of refined flour
300 gm Sugar
2 tbsp Curd
3 tbsp Ghee
Directions
1.Take a deep bottomed Microwave bowl. Add all the ingredients (including ghee) except Curd and mix well.
2.Microwave on high for 7-8 mins(stirring once in the 6th min so that the milk not be spilled or spoiled).
3.Remove from the microwave and add curd,mix it well and M/W this on high for 7-9 more mins(Stirring it every 3 mins and then 2 mins till the required consistency),shd not be dry or semi-dry.
4.Allow it to cool in a 2 tsp ghee-greased tray.When it is cool,Spread it in an Aluminium foil,sprinkle 2 tsp flour or ghee on top.cover it with another Aluminium foil and press flat with Puri spread.
5.Cut it into square shaped pieces and serve this chilled.

Usually children do not like to drink milk.So this recipe is absolutely best for the children.The recipe is very easy and takes less time.Thank gosh now i do not have to run after my kids for the milk.
