Banana Stem Clear Soup

Today this Banana Stem clear Soup has been served freshly as the healthy recipe of the Day.Banana Stem juice is said to be the best home-treatment for gall stones.It is good for diabetic patients.Buy a tender banana stem part and do this Soup .Remove the outer skin and the inside thread-like, take the inside round thing and cut into small pieces. If U want U can put it in Buttermilk till U pulse it to make juice of it..This serves 3- 4 nos..You can do it as juice and have it or add  2-3 tbsp sweet corn soup ready-mix in step 2 and boil it till done.This improves the taste of the soup.Enjoy Easy Cooking at home.Enjoy ur Meal!. Banana Stem Clear Soup - Best home treatment for gall stones

Ingredients
    2 cups Banana Stem pieces
    1 tsp Ginger (julienned)
    1 tsp white pepper  or freshly ground 5 pepper corns
    2 garlic cloves  (crushed)
    1/4 tsp  salt - to taste
    3 cups water
    1 tsp chopped coriander leaves

Directions

    1.Blend banana stem pieces,ginger, garlic clove,crushed peppercorns,,a pinch of turmeric(very little) powder with 3 cups of water and strain the juice.
    2.Take a pan heat with chopped coriander leaves and salt for 5 mins(after boiling it for a min).
    3.Serve hot in 3-4 soup bowls.

its my favorite food .Healthy recipe .but i cant get banana stems here. we get flowers but at times they are very bitter .thanks for the recipe .shall try it when we go to India.
