Spicy Karamani Masala( Blacked Eyed Peas Masala) -A M/W Recipe

Karamani (White Cow beans) tastes so good if done with selective spices.I happened to taste the Masala -
when my Mom made it last month.It got finished within mins.Here is the recipe for u to try its taste in ur come. Happy Cooking!.

Spicy Karamani Masala - Karamani cooked with spices - a Microwave Recipe

Ingredients :

1 1/2 cup white cow beans(karamani) - soaked overnight in water
1 big onion - finely chopped
1 big tomato - finely chopped
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1 1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste-fresh
5 tsp ground masala (2 tbsp grated coconut with 1/2 tsp cumin seeds,1 tsp saunf and 1/2 cinnamon stick- 1
inch size)
1/2 tsp maze - powdered
1 tbsp refined oil
2 cups water
few curry leaves
few coriander leaves

Directions :

    1.Take a microwave bowl,add mustard seeds,chopped onions,chopped tomatoes,ginger-garlic paste and curry leaves.Microwave this on high for 3 mins.
    2.Take the bowl out and add all the remaining ingredients and microwave this on high for 15 mins till the gravy becomes semi-dry.
    3.If u need this  soft and tender,add 1/2 cup water more and microwave this on medium for 5 mins.
    4.Serve this Spicy Karamani Masala with Rice and sambar or Indian Breads or Idli.
