Banana Kuzhi Paniyaram

This paniyaram used to be so tasty .U can do this recipe using pineapple(but reduce the amount of coconut milk added by 1/4th cup),apple, plums,honeydew melon,lychees,strawberry,chickoo,jackfruit, cherries, tuttifruity,dates,ice-apple(nungu),kismis,badham,pista etc, instead of banana and Pathaneer palmyrah tree extract) for coconut milk.U can try this recipe without adding Coconutmilk also.U can do 20 +  Paniyaram using this measure This serves 6-7 nos.Enjoy ur Evening!.Bon Appetit!.

Banana Kuzhi Paniyaram - Paniyaram made with banana

Ingredients :

1 cup maida flour
1/2 cup wheat flour
3 ripe and good bananas-mashed well
1 tsp cardamom powder
1 cup thick coconut milk
1 cup second coconut milk
1/2 cup grated coconut
1/2 or 3/4 cup sugar-as per ur desired sweetness
2 tbsp crushed cashewnuts
1 tbsp kismis
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 tsp sodium bi carbonate)-appam soda
1 egg - beaten well(optional)
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup refined oil with 1 tsp ghee

Directions :

    1.Take a bowl,add the maida flour,salt,sugar,cashewnuts,kismis,cardamom powder,sodium bi carbonate and the wheat flour.Mix this well.
    2.Add the coconut milks and grated coconut and mix well so that no lump should be formed.
    3.Add the mashed bananas,vanilla essence and the beaten egg.Mix this well.The paniyaram batter should
be little thick than the Idli batter.
    4.Heat the kuzhi(means shallow hole)paniyaram tawa and grease it with 1 tsp oil in each hole.Pour the
paniyaram batter in each hole and turn the side when dark or golden brown in colour.
    5.Serve this paniyarams hot at tea-time.

Note:Try this recipe with 100gm wheat flour,30gm maida flour,1 tbsp suji or semolina,2 ripe bananas(mashed),1/2 tsp cardamom essence , 1/2 cup grated coconut with other mentioned ingredients.
