Pepper Chicken Masala

A simple variation of Pepper Chicken Fry is given here-which is very much appreciated by all whenever I prepare.Try this mouthwatering chicken fry-for a change . Bon Appetit!,

Pepper Chicken Fry - Chicken fried with pepper and other spices

Ingredients:

1/2 kg Boneless Chicken pieces
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
2 tsp pepper powder-freshly ground
1/4 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp fresh ginger-garlic paste
1/4 tsp jeera powder
1/4 tsp fennel seed powder
1/4 tsp cinnamon stick powder
2 tsp curd
few curry leaves
few coriander leaves
2 tsp refined oil
1 tsp salt-to taste
250ml water

Directions

1.Clean the chicken pieces(atleast 5 times) and add pepper powder, turmeric powder, chilli powder,ginger-
garlic paste,jeera powder,fennel seeds powder,cinnamon stick powder, curd, curry leaves, coriander leaves
and salt. Mix this well and marinate the chicken pieces for 30 mins.
2.Heat oil in a pressure pan,add the marinated chicken pieces along with the marinade and saute for 3-4 mins.
3.Add 250 ml water and pressure cook upto 4 whistles.Leave it for 10 mins and wait for the pressure to be released.
4.Open the lid and turn on the flame .Saute for 2-3 mins or till this fry runs dry or semi-dry.Serve this Pepper Chicken Fry hot with rice or indian breads etc,.

Tips:If u want this as Pepper Chicken Masala, just add 2 cloves , 2 cardamoms-crushed,1 onion - pasted and
2 tomatoes - pasted in step2 and saute this for 4 mins at-least and then add the marinated chicken pieces.In Step3 add 400ml water and then pressure cook up to 4 whistles and serve this hot with indian breads, rice, idli, dosa etc.
