Mutton Seekh Kebab

This Kebab is a traditional Moghali speciality - This can be served as a starter or an accompaniment.Try
this recipe at home and Bon Appetit!.

Mutton Seekh Kebab - Tasty kebab made with keema and spices


1/4 kg minced mutton
2 tsp ginger-garlic paste
1 tbsp ghee(clarified butter)
1 tsp chilli powder or mutton masala powder
3/4 tsp salt-to taste
3 tbsp onion paste
1/4 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp fresh pepper powder
1 big onion -finely chopped
1 tsp lemon juice
1/4 tsp cardamom and cinnamon stick powder
1/4 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp fennel seeds-powdered
1/2 tsp garam masala powder
1/2 tsp grated nutmeg
2 tsp corn flour-pasted in 1 tbsp warm water
few coriander and mint leaves


1.Mix all the ingredients together well.
2.Shape the kebab keema-mix around the skewers and grill over a medium fire till kebabs are cooked on both sides (8 mins per side).
3.Serve with tomato ketchup and lemon wedges.
