Coriander Oats Biryani - Flavorfully Appetizing
Ingredients:
150 gms Oats
Coriander Leaves - 1 bunch
1 big onion - sliced fine
1 tomato - sliced fine
1 cardamom,1 bay leaf-crushed,1 clove,1 cm cinnamon stick
1 tsp biryani masala
1 cm ginger piece
1 big garlic clove
1 green chilli - slit fine
1 tbsp ghee
2 tsp + 2 tsp refined oil
1/4 tsp salt or needed
Directions:
1.Oil-saute the chopped coriander leaves for 5 mins and keep it aside to cool.Grind it coarsely without adding water.
2.Ghee-saute the oats for 2 mins on medium flame and turn off the flame before it turns colour.
3.Heat 2 tsp oil in a kadai and fry 1 cardamom,1 bay leaf-crushed,1 clove and 1 cm cinnamon stick for 30 secs.
4.Add onion slices and saute it for 3 mins.Then add green chilli,tomato slices,salt,Biryani masala and saute it for 3-4 mins till tomato gets done.
5.Add the coriander leaves paste and saute it for 2 mins.Check for salt.
6.Now,add the ghee-roasted oats and sprinkle 2 tsp water every 30 secs 3-4 times(don't add more) and stir-cook it till done or blended well with spices for say about 3-4 mins.
7.Serve it with raita of ur choice and stew or korma.Yummy!.
