Vegetable Bread Crispies

This can serve U a handy Tiffin and can easily be tried at home with daily-using ingredients.U can try it with minced mutton or chicken -in this case add mutton masala or garam masala instead of Chilli powder or U can try it adding a Veg-either Carrot or potato or Cauliflower. Very tasty tea-time snack to try at home.Reposted here for the Bread Breakfast Club Event mentioned below.

Vegetable Bread Crispies - Deep fried Crispies of Veg. and bread pieces.

Ingredients

    4 bread slices-shredded
    1 small sized potato-boiled
    1 tbsp grated carrot(1/2 carrot)
    1/4 tsp dried-herbs
    1 tbsp semolina(suji)
    1 tbsp corn flour
    1 tbsp chopped onions
    2 tsp grated cabbage
    1 tbsp grated cheese
    1 cup breadcrumbs- paste with 1/4 cup water
    1/4 tsp chilli powder or  1/2 tsp white pepper powder
    1/4 tsp salt(or needed salt)
    few chopped coriander leaves
    1 cup refined oil
    little water

Directions

    1.Mash the boiled potato(remove the skin) coarsely.
    2.Add the chopped onions,chopped tomatoes,grated carrot,grated cabbage,grated cheese,chilli powder,pepper powder,salt,turmeric powder and chopped curry leaves and mix well.
    3.Add suji,dried herbs and the shredded bread slices- sprinkling little water and mix well.
    4.Shape the mixed dough mixture into round balls or triangles or any shape u like.
    5.Heat oil in a pan or kadai.Roll it in the breadcrumbs and Shallow  or Deep-fry the crispies till golden brown on both sides.
    6.Serve these crispies with tomato sauce and tea or coffee or with Breakfast for Vadai.
