Reshmi Kabab - A tender and delicious starter
Ingredients
100 gm minced chicken
1 medium sized onions (ground coarsely )
1 tsp ginger - garlic paste(fresh)
1 tbsp coriander leaves (chopped)
1 tbsp mint leaves (chopped)
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp pepper powder
2 green chillies (ground with 1 tsp fennel seeds)
2 tbsp split besan dhal powder (pori kadalai powder)
1 tsp garam masala
2 eggs (beaten well with salt pepper powder)
1 tsp salt to taste
onion slices (for garnishing)
1 tsp coriander and mints leaves (finely chopped)
2 tbsp refined oil
Directions
1.Mix all the masala (except eggs) and the minced chicken well.
2.Shape this mixture into sausages and dip this in the beaten egg mixture.
3.Heat oil in a tawa and shallow fry these sausages shaped mixture on both sides.
4.Garnish with onion slices and coriander - mint leaves.
Note:
You can saute the minced chicken-mixture(except beaten egg) in 2 tsp oil for a min or 2 before shaping them like sausages to improve the taste.Add 3 sambar onions or onion - 1 no.(medium sized) not 2 no.s- ground coarsely and 1 tsp lemon juice(optional) to improve the taste.
