Egg Tikka Masala

Who said Tikka can be done with boneless Chicken only?.Try this traditionally rich Gravied recipe with easily available Veggies like  Mushrooms or round sliced Brinjals or boiled Egg etc...Tried this Egg Tikka Masala today and it turned out well and much appreciated.U can try this recipe with boneless chicken pieces, chopped and oil-roasted Mushrooms,Brinjals,prawns and boneless fish pieces.Its simple and easy to do.Try this exotic Traditional recipe at home this week-end. Egg Tikka Masala
Ingredients:
4 hard boiled Eggs - de-shelled and  make slits
2 tbsp tomato paste
2 tbsp onion paste
1 small onion - sliced thin but optional
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
a pinch of turmeric powder
1/4 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp coriander powder
2/3 tsp red chilli powder
100- 150 ml water
1/2 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt - to taste
1 - 1/2 tsp butter
2 tsp thin or single or lowfat cream
1/4 tsp dry methi(kasur methi) leaves
1/4 tsp garam masala
Seasonings:
a pinch of ginger juliennes
chopped coriander leaves
Directions:
1.Heat oil in a kadai and add tomato paste,gingergarlic paste,sliced onion(optional) and onion paste.Saute it done till oil
floats on top.
2.Add the spice powders(turmeric powder,coriander powder,cumin powder, and red chilli powder) and saute for 2-3 mins.
3.Add water (100 ml) to bring it to boil till the garvy gets thick.
4.Add sugar and half- the ingredients mentioned in the seasoning.
5.Add the slit and de-shelled boiled Eggs and stir-cook for 3 mins.
6.Add Butter,kasur methi(dried) and garam masala. Let it get done for 2mins on low flame.

7.Finally add cream and chopped coriander . Serve it hot with Biryani,Pulao,Fried Rice,Steamed Rice or Indian Breads.
