If U need a sweet snack item in 6-8 mins, try this quick Sugar-coated Roasted Greenpeas. If its done 3/4th, it tastes good and easy to have. Its not an expensive one and easily tried by all. Try this simple snack at home and Enjoy Ur Teatime.
Sugar-coated Roasted Greenpeas
Ingredients:
150 gms dark-green fresh greenpeas - clean it well 2 times and drain water
1 1/2 tsp refined oil
2 tsp cornflour
1 tsp refined flour
2 - 3 tbsp sugar
Directions:(Roasting)
1.Drain water and mix the greenpeas with oil and roast it for 2 mins on medium-flame using a non-stick pan.
2.Allow it to cool and mix it with cornflour,refined flour and sugar and roast it for 4 more mins on medium flame adding 1/2 tsp oil if needed.
3.When it becomes 3/4th dry, turn off the flame and allow it to cool.
4.Serve it with Coffee/Tea at tea/anytime.
Using Microwave Oven:
1.Drain water and mix the greenpeas with oil in a M/Wsafe bowl and Microwave it for 2 mins on high.
2.Take it out,Mix it with cornflour,refined flour and sugar and Microwave it on high for 2 more mins on high.
3.Add 1/2 tsp oil if needed and microwave it for a min or 2 mins on high again till it becomes 3/4th dry and hard. Allow it to cool.
4.Serve it with Coffee/Tea at tea/anytime.
