Honeyed Almonds/Cashewnuts
Ingredients:
50 gms Almonds
50 gms Cashewnuts
2 tbsp butter
3 tbsp honey
1 tbsp or 1 1/2 tsp Sugar
Directions:
1.Preheat the Oven to 180 C.Mix Almonds and Cashews with 1 tbsp butter and arrange it on a greased baking sheet lined on a baking tray.Bake it for 5 mins.Let it cool for 10mins.Gather it and mix it with honey and sugar.
2.Change the Oven temp to 160 C.Arrange it on a greased baking sheet and bake for 10 mins or till done.Leave it for 10 mins.
3.Gather it and serve it with Tea/Coffee or anytime.
Tips:
1.Mix the almonds and cashews with 1 tbsp butter and stir-fry it for 2-3 mins on low flame.Again mix it with
honey and sugar and transfer it to the kadai and stir-fry it for 2 mins or till done on low flame.
2.For the Salted version, mix the almonds and cashewnuts with and butter and stir-fry it for 2-3 mins on low
flame,then sprinkle 1/5 tsp salt over it and stir-fry it for a min or 2 till done.Gather it and serve with Coffee/ Tea.
3.If U r using Non-stick Kadai in the process, then add 1 tbsp sugar .For the Oven recipe, addition of 1 - 1 1/2 tsp sugar is enough .
