Broadbeans(Avaraikai) Stir-fry - a MicroWave Recipe

This generation mostly prefer  French beans to this Broadbeans but this is one of the tastiest sidedishes to go with sambar,any other Veg or Non-Veg Gravy and Steamed rice.This stirfry requires 6-7 mins microwave cooking time only. Try at home and enjoy the dish.Enjoy easy cooking at home.Enjoy ur meal!.BonAppetit!.

Broadbeans Stir fry- Broadbeans (Avaraikai) Stir fried with spices


100 gms Broad beans(Avaraikai)- cleaned and cut finely
1 finely chopped onion
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 finely chopped green chilli
few curry leaves
few coriander leaves
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp water
2 tsp refined oil(optional)
1/2 tsp mustard seeds(optional)
1/2 tsp split urad dhal(optional)
2 whole red chillies(optional)
2 tsp grated coconut(optional)


1.Take a microwave-safe bowl,mix chopped onions,finely cut Avaraikai,cumin seeds,chopped green chilli,curry leaves, coriander leaves and salt so that this is evenly spread.
2.Sprinkle 2 tbsp water over it.
3.Microwave on High for 2 mins.Take the bowl out.
4.Put oil,mustard seeds and red chillies in another microwave bowl.Microwave on High for a min and add this to the Avaraikai bowl with grated coconut,mix well and Microwave on High for 2 more mins.
5.Take that out and serve this tasty Broad Beans(Avaraikai) Stirfry with sambar,any other Veg or Non-Veg Gravy and steamed rice.
