Ezy Fish Molee

This kerala delicacy is mild in spice and tastes so much like the Fish in Coconutmilk Gravy and can be done
quickly in 20 mins.This coconut-flavoured gravy is mostly served as an accompaniment for Aappams.Try this
recipe at home to enjoy its taste.Bon Appetit!.

Ezy Fish Molee - Kerala Fish-Coconutmilk Curry

Ingredients:

8 pieces Seer fish or any good fish
1 onion-chopped
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tomato-half chopped and half sliced
1/2 tsp fenugreek seeds
finely ground paste of (2 g.chillies,ginger-1  cm,garlic clove-2,saunf-1/2 tsp,cumin seeds-1/4 tsp)
few curry leaves
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
3 tbsp coconutmilk powder-pasted in 1 cup warm water or fresh coconut milk  - 200ml
300 ml water
1  tsp salt
few coriander leaves
1 tbsp coconut oil

Directions:

1.Heat 2 tsp coconut oil in a sauce pan,splutter mustard seeds,fenugreek seeds,chopped onions,chopped tomatoes and few curry leaves and saute for 2-3 mins.
2.Add the ground masala,turmeric powder and coriander leaves and saute this for 3-4 mins.
3.Add 300ml water and salt and mix well and bring it to boil for a min or 2 on good flame.
4.Add the fish pieces and sliced tomatoes and cook for 3 mins atleast.Turn off the flame.
5.Add the dissolved coconut milk and cook for 7-8 more mins till the fish is done
6.Sprinkle 1 tsp coconut oil on top and close it with lid.
7.Serve this hot with Aappams or rice or with Indian breads.
