'Paal Kozhukattai' or 'Kozhukattai Paal Payasam' is a Delicious Dessert done with Coconut Milk traditionally in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. This recipe is given by my  friend Linora John.U can call it an easy and ideal replacement  or a quick recipe otherwise. U can try this recipe with 1 cup (200ml ) first coconutmilk and 300 ml second coconutmilk or with 4 tbsp coconut milk powder dissolved in 120 ml lukewarm water +  needed water. The taste of this Dumpling Dessert never get diminished in this preparation. Needs 15-16 mins cooking time and serves 7-8 nos.U can do 50 + small dumplings with this and try half the size of  shown kozhukattai which fits and fills the Dessert.Try this recipe at home and enjoy this Paal Kozhukattai or Kozhukattai Paal Payasam. Enjoy Ur Meal!. BonAppetit!.

Paal Kozhukattai (Kozhukattai Paal Payasam) - Milky Dessert done with Riceflour Dumplings

3.Keep on stirring it for 8-10 mins on medium flame till it gets thickened like a kneaded dough.Turn off the flame and allow it to cool.Keep it covered.Make small round shaped balls(U can add 1-2 tsp coconut oil mixed with 1 tsp ghee while shaping the dumplings) and keep it aside.
4.Heat 300 ml lowfat milk with 150 ml water with sugar,2 tsp coconutmilk powder(optional) and crushed cardamom. Stir-cook it till the sugar gets dissolved.
5.Reduce the flame to low and add the dumplings with grated coconut.Mix it smoothly for 2-3 mins and Turn off the flame before it begins to boil. The Dessert will get thick in this process.
6.Serve it warm or chilled and garnished with grated coconut, saffron strands or almond flakes.
