Ginger Chicken Masala

When U wish to try for a Chicken Masala variation,give this Ginger-flavored Chicken recipe a try and see ur family happily relishing a good meal.U can do it atleast once a month as it is good for health.This Semi-dry Chicken goes well with Steamed rice,Bread and Indian Breads.Enjoy it with any meal!.BonAppetit!.

Ginger Chicken Masala - Very tasty Ginger-flavored semi-dry Chicken masala


Ingredients:

300 gms Chicken(boneless)
1 1/4 tsp Ginger paste
1/2 tsp Garlic paste
1/2 tsp  grated ginger
1 grenn chilli -slit (optional)
1 1/2 tsp Chicken Masala (or 1/4 tsp Dhaniya powder + 3/4 tsp Chilli powder + ½ tsp Jeera powder + 1/2 tsp Cardamom, cinnamon,maze,Cloves powder)
½ tsp Pepper powder
1/2 tsp saunf seeds
a pinch of Turmeric powder
1 tbsp refined oil
1 medium -sized onion - sliced
1 medium-sized tomato - chopped fine
fried curry leaves and chopped coriander leaves - for garnishing.
1 small sized Onion + 1 small sized tomato -finely pasted

Directions:

1.Marinate Chicken with Chicken masala,ginger paste and Garlic paste for 15 mins.
2.Take a kadai,Heat refined oil.Add Saunf,green chilli,sliced onion and tomato and grated Ginger and saute for 2 mins.
3.Add the onion tomato paste and stir-cook for 2-3 mins .
4.Add Marinated chicken along with the marinade and add pinch of turmeric powder and Stir-cook for 2 mins more.
5.Add salt and half the coriander leaves and pressure-cook upto 4 whistles.Leave it for the pressure to be
released.
6.Add pepper powder and mix well.Turn off the flame in 3-4 mins.
7.Garnish with fried curry leaves,few fresh ginger juliennes and  chopped coriander leaves.
