Kashmiri masala Tea can be taken as a rejuvenator on a day u feel real tired or at early morning everyday to kick-start the day refreshingly.This can be served as black tea or with boiled milk separately.Try this at home to refresh u at times.Bon Appetit!.
Kashmiri Masala Tea -Tea prepared adding spices in Kashmiri style
Ingredients
500 ml water
3 tsp kashmiri tea-leaves or green tea-leaves
2 tbsp sugar
1/2 inch cinnamon stick-crushed coarsely
5 green cardamoms- crushed
15 almonds - peeled and crushed coarsely
few saffron strands
few soaked and blanched almonds-for garnishing
few mint leaves-for garnishing
70 ml boiled low-fat milk
Directions:
1.Boil water with powdered cardamom,powdered cinnamon,powdered almonds for 2-3 mins on good flame.
2.Add kashmiri tea leaves and boil for 3-4 mins or till it leaves the green colour.Turn off the flame and leave it covered for 5-7 mins.
3.Strain the black tea and add sugar and mix well.
4.Garnish this tea with saffron strands,blanched almonds and mint leaves.
5.Serve this Kashmiri Masala Tea with Milk separately.
