This Green Chicken Curry is done with coriander leaves masala cooked with selected spices.If you like the taste and flavor of coriander leaves,try this one at home for a change.U can also try chicken using Mint paste instead. Coriander Chicken Curry - Chicken cooked with corianderleaves masala
Ingredients:
300 gms boneless chicken pieces (cleaned with water and salt)
2 handful coriander leaves pasted and few coriander leaves chopped
1 onion - pasted fine
2 green chillies
2 garlic cloves
2 cm ginger pieces
1/2 tsp curry masala
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp lemon juice
2 tsp refined oil
1 tsp mustard seeds
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
3/4 tsp salt
250 ml water
Directions:
1.Prepare 1 cup coriander paste with green chillies ,garlic and ginger.Keep this aside.Chop few coriander
leaves.
2.Heat oil in a pressure pan ,fry mustard seeds,cumin seeds and onion paste and saute for 2 mins.
3.Add turmeric powder,coriander paste and salt .Cook for 5-6 mins till the raw smell diminishes - stirring
continuously.
4.Add the chicken pieces,curry masala and 250ml water and pressure cook upto 4 whistles.keep it aside for the pressure to be released.
5.Now open the lid and add chopped coriander leaves and stir-cook till it becomes semi-dry.
6.Sprinkle lemon juice on top.
7.Serve it with Steamed Rice,Bread slices or Indian Breads like Idli,Dosa,Chapati,Roti and Parota.

Very nice! I'm sure it is as full of flavour as it is with health benefits.
This reminds me of an East Bengal mutton recipe that is almost the same, but with more coriander leaves, and tonnes of green chili paste. It brings tears to the eyes with its fiery taste, but the coriander taste makes up for it. Will be trying this one out soon.
