This simple Buttery Twist is easy to bake, Soft and crunchy if perfectly done and requires basic ingredients. Relish the taste of this twist made with butter and yoghurt done with refined flour.Can try it adding dessicated Coconut or dried herbs or maze powder or grated cheese or paneer or carrot.This twist can be made easily with puff sheet also.If U find it difficult to twist,just press the centre of the strip so that it appears as a bow. Butter Twist
Ingredients:
1 cup All purpose flour
1/4 cup butter
1/4 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Sugar
1/4 tsp salt - to taste
2 tbsp curd -optional
Method:
1.Preheat the oven to 350F.
2.Sift the four and mix all the ingredients together in a bowl to a soft and smooth dough.If needed add 2 tbsp curd in the process.
3.Grease an aluminium foil and spread the dough into 1/3 cm thickness chapati.Cut into 2 inches strip and twist it once like U do the chocolate wrap.
4.Arrange it on a greased baking tray (brush little butter on top) leaving equal space and bake for about 15 - 18 mins or till done.
5.Allow it to cool for 10 mins and serve with Tea/Coffee or anytime.
