This recipe tasted so good that I thought to share it with u all.This Baby Potato Capsicum Masala is an easy and tasty side-dish - which needs 10-12 mins microwave cooking-time only. This side-dish is the best combination for rice with Sambar or Curd Rice or Rasam or Chapati. Enjoy Ur Meal!. BonAppetit!.
Baby Potato- Capsicum Masala ( a Microwave recipe) - Baby Potato pieces and Capsicum cooked with masala
Ingredients:
3 chopped Baby Potatoes(Peel before chopping them)
1 Capsicum - chopped thin
1 finely chopped onion
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/4 tsp garam or curry masala or Aachi mutton masala
pinch of turmeric powder
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1/2 tsp salt to taste
few curry leaves
few coriander leaves
1/2 cup water
2 tsp refined oil
Directions:
1.Take a microwave bowl, mix oil,mustard seeds,onion slices and curry leaves and Microwave(on high) this mixture for 2 mins.
2.Take the bowl out amd mix it with all the other ingredients except the capsicum slices.Microwave this on high for 3 mins.
3.Take the bowl out and mix it with capsicum slices and coriander leaves.Microwave this on high for 8 mins on high.
4.Serve this Baby Potato-Capsicum Masala Stirfry hot with rice and sambar or rasam or Curd Rice or chapati.
Tips:
1.Check ur M/W manual timings.This may vary with models and the quantity of ingredients used.
2.Potato lovers, please try this recipe. It tastes so good.U can use 1/4 tsp maze powder instead of mutton or garam masala.If u want the potato pieces to be tender,just add 50 ml water .Microwave on medium for 4 mins.
