Tuna Fish Cake

Tasted  this Tuna Fish Cakes in a restaurant two years back.And my attempt at home was successful and it tasted awesome.Can get 7-8 fish cakes in the given measurements.Very tasty fish cake that u can try easily at home.U can bake it or get it done Tawa-fried.U can do it with Chicken flakes and nicely pulsed keema (minced mutton),pulsed prawns  and loads of ur fav Vegs.etc.Enjoy Easy cooking at home.Enjoy tasty delights at teatime. Tuna Fish Cake - Baked fish cake made with canned Tuna Flakes

Ingredients

    1 tinned Tuna fish-flakes
    2 tsp coriander leaves-finely chopped
    1 tsp lemon juice
    1 tsp fresh ginger-garlic paste
    a pinch of turmeric powder
    2 tbsp refined flour
    1 tbsp corn flour
    1 small mashed potato(boiled for 8-10 mins)
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 tsp white pepper powder
    2 tbsp corn oil

Directions

    1.Mix the drained tuna flakes with boiled and mashed potato,ginger-garlic paste and coriander leaves.Mix well.
    2.Add lemon juice,turmeric powder,corn flour and maida flour to form a thick paste.
    3.Add salt and pepper powder and mix well.
    4.Shape the mixture into heart-shaped cutlet-moulds.
    5.Spread Oil a microwave bowl and lay out the tuna cakes.
    6.Bake in an oven at 350 degree F for 20-25 mins.
    7.To check if done,insert a toothpick -if it comes out clean,then the fish cake is considered as done.
    8.Serve hot with a dipping sauce of your choice.(Tomato or mustard or Lebanese Garlic Sauce)

Tips:
Spread  it in a greased M/W safe-bowl and Microwave this on Medium High for 6-8 mins and again for 3 mins the next side.And take the bowl out and cut and serve otherwise.

We bought fresh tuna steaks a while ago and tried to marinate and grill them at home.. they didn't turn out well. Maybe Tuna was meant to become fish cakes. These look very appetizing and i like the recipe.
