This is a simple Veg in hot sauce recipe.U can do this recipe with cornflour coated and fried brinjal pieces and Cauliflower Florets,Chopped and oil-sauteed Ladies-Finger,Chopped Mushroom,Boiled Egg Slices,Boiled Chicken pieces,Prawns, Apple,Pineapple,Jackfruit and Mango Pieces,Babycorn pieces,fried Paneer pieces etc. This will go well with Indian Breads and fried rice varieties.Enjoy this Veg hot sauce at home.Enjoy cooking.BonAppetit!.
Capsicum in Hot Sauce - Capsicum slices cooked in hot sauce with spices
Ingredients
1 Green Capsicum-Sliced
2 tsp finely chopped garlic
3 tbsp finely chopped onion
1 green chilli-finely chopped
1 tbsp spring onions-finely chopped
1/2 tsp white pepper powder
1 tbsp hot sauce
1 tsp soy sauce
a pinch of ajinomotto
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp corn flour(dissolved in 3 tbsp warm water)
2 tsp refined oil
Directions:
1.Heat oil in a kadai,saute chopped onion,chopped garlic,chopped greenchilli,capsicum slices and 2 tsp chopped spring onions for 3 mins till the onions turn little golden brown.
2.Add the capsicum slices and salt and saute for a min.
3.Add soy sauce and hot sauce and stir for 2-3 mins.
4.Add ajinomotto and stir for a min.
5.Add Sugar,1 tsp chopped spring onions,white pepper powder and then dissolved corn flour(don't add more) and stir for 2 mins.
6.Serve this hot with Naan and other Indian Breads or rice.
