Butterbeans Masala - Butterbeans cooked with spices
400 gms Butterbeans - peeled and cleaned and soaked in water for 30 mins
1 big onion - finely chopped
1 big tomato - finely chopped
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste-fresh
1/2 tsp Curry Masala
2 tbsp ground masala (2 tbsp grated coconut with 2 cm cinnamon stick of medium size and 1/2 tsp saunf seeds)
1/4 tsp Maze Powder
2 tsp refined oil
300 ml water
few curry leaves
few coriander leaves
1.Take a microwave bowl,add mustard seeds,chopped onions,chopped tomatoes,ginger-garlic paste and curry leaves.Microwave this on high for 2 mins.
2.Take the bowl out and add all the remaining ingredients including butter beans othe other spices, adding 200 ml water and microwave this on high for 10 mins. till the gravy becomes semi-dry.
3.Mix it well.Check for salt and Microwave this on high for 3 mins adding chopped coriander leaves.
4.Serve this Butterbeans Masala with Rice or Variety Rices or Indian Breads or wheat Bread slices..
