Tomato Kurkure -Crunchy Tomato Flavoured Chips
3-4 tbsp Tomato puree
4 tbsp Corn flour + 2 tbsp maida + 2 tbsp besan flour(kadalai maavu)
2 tbsp crushed (steamed) rice
a pinch of baking powder
1/4 tsp chilli powder
a pinch of salt
a pinch of ajwain powder
a pinch of chat masala
1-2 tbsp salted butter
200ml refined oil
1.Mix all together except the oil ,knead it into fine dough- adding few tsp oil and sprinkling needed water.
2.Spread it like a puri and cut into 2 cm wide round slices.
3.Microwave this on medium-high for 2 mins.(Otherwise U need to sun-dry it for an hour)
4.Take them out,leave it for few mins and deep-fry them in 200 ml oil till golden brown on bothsides.
5.Serve this Crunchy,Crispy KuKure with Ketch-up at teatime.
