This Salad is a tasty way to enjoy this Queen among Vegetables and packed with tasty combination of raisins,grapes and pomegranate.It is an eye-catching though it is simple-made easy and colourful(if u add black grapes and pomegranate seeds).This needs 2-3 mins Microwave Cooking in the process.Its good to have grapes and pomegranate (both are blood purifiers) after a filling meal.U can use this salad as Sandwich filler or in Chapati rolls(without adding the fruits) or u can have it with Rice and Sambar (adding 1/4 tsp white pepper more).Try this Salad at home and Enjoy Ur Meal!.Bon Appetit!.
Ladiesfinger Onion Salad-Okra and small onions Salad with lemon juice and pepper powder
Ingredients
15 ladies fingers - finely chopped
15 sambar onions - finely chopped
2 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp white pepper powder
2 tsp salad oil
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp grated coconut
for garnishing:
2 tbsp chopped cucumber
10 cashewnuts and raisins
10 small seedless black grapes(optional)
2-3 tbsp pomegranate seeds(optional)
chopped coriander leaves- 1 tsp
chopped red capsicum + red cabbage slices soaked in vinegar
few tinned olives(optional)
Directions
1.Clean the ladiesfinger pieces with salt and water- till the stickiness decreases.
2.Mix chopped onions,chopped ladiesfinger,lemon juice,salt ,salad oil and white pepper powder.
3.Microwave this mixture on high for 2-3 mins(till half done).
4.Take it out and mix it with grated coconut,chopped cucumber,chopped coriander leaves,chopped red
capsicum + red cabbage pieces,pomegranate seeds(optional),seedless(small) black grapes,crushed cashew nuts and raisins.
