China Grass (Agar-Agar) Halwa

'China Grass' is termed  as a healthy ingredient in cooking .This is known as 'Agar Agar' in Hindi and 'Kadal Paasi' in Tamil.  This Halwa is not only famous in Bombay but cherished as the healthiest and quickest Halwa allover Asia . .Agar-agar is said to be the best Natural Body Coolant (hence include China Grass more in your Diet during Summer). This Halwa serves 4 - 5 nos and needs 12 - 15 mins cooking time. U can also do Dessert,Falooda, Pudding,Soup, Kheer, Jelly, Icecream, etc using Agar Agar..U just need 12 - 15 mins cooking time for this tasty treat. Enjoy Easy n Tasty Desserts at home!. China Grass(Agar-Agar) Halwa
Ingredients:
15 - 20 gms - Agar Agar -  Soak in 150ml water and drain it after 15 mins
150 gms or needed Sugar - powdered
1 tbsp Aachi Badham milk Mix
500 ml Lukewarm LowFat Milk
few almond and cashew flakes
2 tsp + 2 tsp ghee to grease the tray
Directions:
1.Stir-in the soaked Agar-Agar in 500 ml boiling milk and stir it continuously till it gets dissolved.
2.Stir-in the powdered sugar and Badham Milk Mix to add taste and flavor.
3.Stir-cook or 2-3 mins till it little thickens adding 2 tsp ghee and pour in a ghee-greased Tray and top it with almond and cashew flakes. Allow it to set for 30 mins.
4.Cut it into cubes. Serve it chilled after refridgerating for 20 mins or reheat for 1 - 1 1/2 mins and serve it warm.
5.Yumm and Healthy Dessert is ready to be served.

  5. wow lovely.i use powdered china grass and am not getting good results everytime.im yet to perfect this.i must try the china grass strands.
