Cashewnuts are shallow-fried with spiced besanflour coating.Try this tasty and easy-to do cashew packora recipe at home.I found Aachi bajji bonda mix very aromatic and extra-ordinary.I f u don't like trying with it,use plain or the besan flour which U find good enough.Enjoy ur teatime.Bon Appetit!.
 
Cashew Packors - Cashewnuts shallowfried with besanflour coating
Ingredients
20 cashews - broken into halves
1 cup Gram Flour (kadalai mavu) or Aachi Bajji bonda mix
1/2 tsp chilli powder
a pinch of asafoetida powder
abt 1/2 cup water
2 cloves of garlic - crushed
few coriander leaves
3 curry leaves
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tbsp butter
200 ml refined oil
Directions
1.Mix the gramflour with garlic cloves,salt,chilli powder and water.Mix well so that no lumps should form.The batter should be thick .
2.Add the cashewnuts to gramflour batter and Mix well.
3.Heat oil in the frying pan.Put the gramflour batter as shapeless pieces in oil and shallow fry on bothsides in oil,till golden brown. Similarly make all the pakoras.
4.Hot and fresh Cashew Pakoras are now ready to be served with tomato ketchup or coconut chutney.
