Lemon Chicken

This recipe gives u the preparation of tasty and tangy Lemon Chicken -  done in Indian way.Try this at home and enjoy the dish.Very mild spiced and glowing chicken is all set to accompany bread and Indian breads.This can be served with white sauce.Enjoy cooking at home with easy to do recipes.Enjoy ur meal!.Bon Appetit!

Lemon Chicken - Chicken prepared with lemon juice and other spices

Ingredients

500 gms boneless chicken pieces(preferably breast pieces-3 nos)
2 tsp Lemon juice
1 tsp chopped lemon grass
1/2 tsp fresh ginger-garlic paste
1 tsp white pepper powder
a  pinch of turmeric powder
1 tsp chopped parsley
1 tsp coriander leaves-chopped
1 tsp olive oil
1 tsp coconut oil

Directions

1.Marinate chicken pieces with ginger - garlic paste,turmeric powder,1 tsp lemon juice and salt.Mix this well and keep it aside for 25 mins(in the fridge).
2.Heat 1 tsp olive oil in a pressure pan,add the marinated chicken pieces along with the marinade,lemon grass and  with 100ml water and pressure cook upto 4 whistle.
3.Open the lid when the pressure is released.Sprinkle 1 tsp coconut oil,1 tsp lemon juice,white pepper powder,coriander leaves and cook this(without covering) till water runs dry and garnish with chopped parsley.
4.Serve this Lemon chicken with bread slices or Indian breads.

Tomato Chicken

Very delicious and tasty dry Chicken dish to try on special occassions.As it uses Tomato as the other-main ingredient,its Tangy and yummlicious.If u need more gravy ,add one more onion - paste.Enjoy cooking at home.Enjoy ur meal.Bon Appetit!.

Tomato Chicken


Ingredients:
    300 gm big boneless Chicken pieces
    1 tsp Chicken Masala or subji or chole masala powder
    1 tsp freshly ground ginger-garlic paste
    1/4 tsp turmeric powder
    3/4 tsp salt
    fresh paste of 1 medium-sized onion
    fresh paste of 3 medium-sized tomatoes
    2 tbsp tomato puree
    200 ml water
    2 tbsp oil
For tempering:
    1 tsp fennel seeds
    finally chopped coriander leaves
    finally chopped curry leaves
    3 dry red chillies

Directions:

    1.Heat oil in a Pressure Pan and fry fennel seeds, whole red chillies and chopped  curry leaves.
    2.Add ginger-garlic paste,onion paste and tomato paste one by one in order and saute well till oil begins to float or tomato begins to melt.
    3.Put boneless Chicken Pieces next,chicken or subji or chole masala,turmeric powder and mix them well in the masala and pour 200 ml water and close the lid of the pressure pan.Cook it for 10 minutes or upto 4 whistle.Then remove the pan from the flame and keep it aside.
    4.After 10 minutes open the pressure pan and put it in flame again.Add 2 tbsp tomato puree,chopped coriander leaves and saute for 2 minutes or till it becomes dry.
    5.Serve this very tasty Tomato chicken preparation hot with Steamed rice,rice varieties,bread or Indian breads.

Orange Chicken

This lip-smacking Orange Chicken preparation is a real treat to ur tastebuds. Will be liked by kids of all ages. Try it at home to relish its taste.Bon Appetit!.

Orange Chicken - Chicken prepared with Orange pulp and other spices

Ingredients:

400 gm Boneless chicken pieces
1 orange-deseeded and pulsed once or 1 1/2 cup orange juice with pulp
1 tsp pepper corns
1 tsp jeera
1 tsp saunf
1 cardamom + 1 clove + 1 cm cinnamon piece + little star anise + 1 bay leaf
1/2 tsp paprika
1 tsp garam masala
1 onion-chopped fine
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
1 tbsp tomato-garlic sauce
2 tsp refined oil
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp white pepper powder
1/2 tsp chilli flakes-optional
few curry leaves
a handful of coriander leaves

Directions:

1.Marinate chicken pieces with salt ,paprika,1 tsp ginger garlic paste,tomato-garlic sauce,garam masala,salt, 1/2 cup pulsed orange pulp or juice and coriander leaves for 1/2 an hour.
2.Dry-roast 1 tsp pepper corns,1 tsp jeera,1 tsp saunf,cardamom,clove,cinna​mon piece,little star anise and
bay leaf for a min in a kadai.Grind this into a fine powder.
3.Heat oil in a pressure pan,splutter mustard seeds,add the chopped onion and curry leaves and stir for 2-3
mins.
4.Add the marinated chicken along with the marinade,remaining coriander leaves,paprika and the dry-roasted
and ground pepper masala.Check the salt and pressure cook upto 4 whistle.
5.Open the pressure pan lid after 10 mins,sprinkle 1/2 tsp white pepper powder and stir-cook adding the 1
cup orange juice with pulp till the chicken is semi-dry(for 5-7 mins).
6.Serve this lip smacking Orange Chicken hot with Biryani,pulaos,sambar and curd rice.

Ezy Chicken Masala - (a Microwave Recipe)

Ezy Chicken Masala can be taken with rice, indian breads, Idli etc. Can be done in 20-25 mins time.Try this recipe at home and Bon Appetit!.

Ezy Chicken Masala  (a Microwave Recipe) - Chicken pieces cooked in spicy Masala


Ingredients

500 gm boneless chicken pieces
1 big onion-chopped fine
1 big tomato- chopped fine
1 big onion and 1 big tomato- pasted fine
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp chilli powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp any chicken masala
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
1/2 tsp freshly ground pepper powder
2 tsp salt
few curry leaves
few coriander leaves
2 cups water
1 tbsp refined oil

Directions

1.Take a microwave bowl and add refined oil,chopped onions, cumin seeds,mustard seeds,chopped tomato and curry leaves.
2.Microwave this on high for 2 mins.Take the bowl out.
3.Add all the other ingredients including 2 cups water. Mix all the ingredients well so that the masala gets evenly spread and Microwave (high) this for 20-25 mins,stirring 2-3 times.
4. Serve this Ezy Chicken Masala with rice.
