Drumstick(Murungaikai) Masala - a Microwave Recipe

This accompaniment is easy to make and popular side-dish of Tamil Nadu.This recipe needs 12 - 14 mins microwave cooking time and serves 4 nos. U can have it with Steamed Rice and Rasam or Curd Rice or Chapati or Idli. Its a simple curry to accompany homely meals and try it at home, if u are not looking for anything special but a quick and easy to do masala side-dish. Enjoy ur Meal!. BonAppetit!.

Drumstick Masala - Drumstick pieces cooked with spices
Ingredients:
    3-4 Drumsticks (Clean and cut into bite-sized pieces)
    1/2 onion finely chopped
    1/2 onion - pasted fine
    3/4 tsp chilli powder
    1/4 tsp cumin powder
    1/4 tsp coriander Powder
    1/6 tsp turmeric powder
    1/2 tsp cumin seeds
    1/2 tsp mustard seeds
    1/2 tsp ginger-garlic paste
    1/2 tsp or salt to taste
    few curry leaves
    few coriander leaves
    200 ml water
    2 tsp refined oil

Directions
    1.Take a microwave-safe bowl and add refined oil,mustard seeds,chopped onions,onion paste,cumin seeds and curry leaves.
    2.Microwave this on high for 2 mins. Take the bowl out.
    3.Add all the other ingredients including 200 ml water and mix well.
    4.Microwave(high) this mixture for 11-12 mins,stirring it once at the 8th min.
    5.Take the bowl out and serve this tasty Drumstick Masala hot with Rice or Rasam or Yoghurt or Curd Rice or Chapati or Idli.
