Capsicum Lentil Curry - A Microwave Recipe

This Capsicum and Dal curry is done with coconut sauce.This Curry can be a perfect taste-match with Steamed Rice and Rasam and Indian Breads.Tastes so good as it is done with selective spices.This can be done in 12 mins cooking time.Here is the recipe for u to try and taste it at home.This Capsicum Dal Curry goes with Steamed Rice and Rasam or Indian Breads.Enjoy Easy Cooking at home!.Enjoy ur Meal!.BonAppetit!.

Capsicum Lentil Curry - Capsicum and Dal done with coconut sauce

Ingredients :

1 Capsicum - cut into bite sized pieces
1/2 cup boiled and mashed Toor dhal
1 onion - sliced fine
1 big tomato - finely chopped
2 red chillies
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
a pinch of subji masala powder - optional
a pinch of turmeric powder
2 tbsp ground masala (2 tbsp grated coconut with 2 green chillies and 1/4 tsp cumin seeds)
2 tsp refined oil
1 cup water
few curry leaves
few coriander leaves

Directions :

    1.Take a microwave-safe bowl,add refined oil,mustard seeds,red chillies,chopped onions,chopped tomatoes and curry leaves.Mix it well and Microwave this on high for 2 mins.
    2.Take the bowl out and add capsicum pieces,turmeric powder,subji masala powder and half a cup of water and mix well.Microwave this on high for 5 mins till the capsicum gets 3/4th cooked.
    3.Add the mashed dal,coconut paste,salt and the coriander leaves .Add the remaining half cup water and mix well.Microwave this on high for 3-4 mins more.(If u need this  soft and tender,add 100 ml water more and microwave this on medium-high for 4 more mins).
    4.Serve this Capsicum Dal Curry with Steamed Rice and Rasam or Indian Breads.
