Today I received 2 expected sweet News and badges from the IndiBlogger.in ( that I won 3 Runnerup Mugs in Amul Master Chef India 2, conducted by Indiblooger.in and Amul, for the following recipes Panchamirtha Fruity Nuts Salad, Chicken Tikka in Orange Sauce and Coconut Chicken Manchurian. I was declared a Second Runnerup for this recipe post of Fiery Grilled Chicken - SetsYou On Fire as one among ten Indibloggers in the KFC Fiery Grilled Contest conducted by Indiblogger.in and KFC). Hence, decided to celebrate it with a Twin Desserts ie.,Payasam both done with Oats. I wanted to this try Chocolate Payasam or Kheer since I saw Choco Pongal this Pongal Day in Mrs.Priya Suresh's space. I will start with Plain Oats Payasam and then narrate the Chocolate Payasam as it tasted so yumm that I don't want to wait somedays to post it. Hope U will Enjoy this Twin Desserts with Me. Enjoy tasty Delights at home the easiest way!. Enjoy Ur Meal!.
Oats Milk Payasam
Ingredients:
1/3 cup Oats
350 ml toned milk
80 gms sugar or needed
1/4 tsp cardamom or vanilla extract
2 tsp + 2 tsp ghee
few ghee-roasted cashews, kismis and almond flakes
Directions:
1.Heat 2 tsp oil Ghee-roast cashews, kismis and almond flakes.Keep it aside.
2.Add 2 tsp ghee to it and roast Oats for a min or 2 on low flame till done.
3. Boil Milk in a Pan and take 100 ml and keep it aside.
4.Stir in ghee-roasted Oats and stir-cook it adding cardamom powder or vanilla extract till it gets done for 3- 4 mins.
5.Stir-in sugar (to taste) and when it dissolves, add ghee-roasted cashews, kismis and almond flakes and 100 ml milk U kept aside in Step 1 - otherwise this will get too thick by now. Turn off the flame.
6.Serve it in a Dessert bowl either hot or Chilled.
Choco Oats Payasam
Ingredients:
1/3 cup Oats
350 ml toned milk
75 gms sugar or needed
3 - 4 tsp Chocolate Powder or Nutella or Hershey's Syrup
2 tsp + 2 tsp ghee
few ghee-roasted cashews, kismis,choco flakes and almond flakes
Directions:
1.Heat 2 tsp oil Ghee-roast cashews, kismis and almond flakes.Keep it aside.
2.Add 2 tsp ghee to it and roast Oats for a min or 2 on low flame till done.
3. Boil Milk in a Pan and take 100 ml and keep it aside.
4.Stir in ghee-roasted Oats and stir-cook it adding Chocolate Powder or Nutella or Hershey's Syrup, till it gets done for 3- 4 mins.
