If U luv to try Custard Caramel variation at home with ease and readily available ingredients, then this Dessert comes first or stands an ideal. The other one is Agar-agar (China Grass) caramel.This simple, Easy and Yumm-made Pudding is done with dessicated Coconut,coconutpowder milk and corn starch with other ingredients. U can add 1 tsp dissolved liq. Gel to get it set firm fast. Can try it with Ordinary Low Fat Milk but the Coconut flavor of the Dessert gets minimized.It is done quickly in 7 - 10 mins but needs a refrigeration time of 2 hours to get it set. Coconut Caramel
Ingredients:
100 gms granulated sugar
4 tbsp cocoutmilk powder - dissolved and boiled into 400 ml coconutmilk
2 tbsp sugar
4 - 5 tsp dessicated coconut
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp corn starch - dissolved in 20 ml warm water
Directions:
1.Prepare caramel syrup first,by heating granulated sugar in a thick bottomed vessel - stirring for 2 mins on low flame. Clean 4 dessert bowls and add 2 tsp caramel syrup in each bowl.
2.Heat coconutmilk on medium flame and when it boils,add sugar,vanilla extract and mix it well gently.
3.Add the dissolved corn Starch and mix it for 2 - 3 mins on low flame gently.When it thickens add dessicated coconut and mix it well.
4.Add it to the caramel sauce Dessert bowls and shift the bowls to the Freezer and let it chill for 12 - 15 mins.
5.Change it to the Fresh tray Comparment from the Freezer and let it set for 2 hours.
6.Take it out at the time of serving and serve it chilled .Turn it upside down on the serving bowl. Yummy Easy-made Dessert.
