Indian Broad Beans Masala

Nothing can beat the taste of home-made dishes even if it is simple. U can do greater variety with Indian Vegetables. This dish is an easy to do side-dish popular in TamilNadu and needs 12 - 14 mins cooking-time. U can have this with rice and rasam or Curd Rice or chapathi or Idli.Its a simple curry to do,if u r not looking for anything special.Try this recipe at home. Enjoy ur Meal!.BonAppetit!.

Indian Broad Beans Masala - Avaraikai pieces cooked with spices
Ingredients:
    150 gms Indian Broad Beans(Clean and cut into bite-sized pieces)
    1 onion or 6 sambar onions finely chopped
    1/2 tsp chilli powder
    1/6 tsp turmeric powder
    1/2 tsp mustard seeds
    1/3 tsp or salt to taste
    few curry leaves
    few coriander leaves
    200 ml water
    2 tsp refined oil
Directions
    1.Heat oil in a Kadai, Splutter mustard seeds,chopped onions and curry leaves.Saute it for 3 mins on medium flame.
    2.Add the Broadbeans pieces to the Kadai,all the spices,salt and saute it for 2 mins till the spices get mixed well.
    3.Add 200 ml water,Cover and cook till it gets done in 10 -12 mins time on medium flame - stirring it often.
    4.Gather this masala in a bowl and serve it hot with rice or rasam or yoghurt or Curd rice or Coconut rice or lemon rice or chapati or Idli.
